This collection includes ancient coins from the Roman and Greek empires (500 B.C.-600 A.D.). Some of the coins were purchased in Greece between 1956-1957, others were found during an excavation in Kavala, Greece (dates unknown). For each coin, there is a corresponding envelope with handwritten notes; additionally, the majority of the coins have an informational foam core for a potential display.
