A folder containing a letter dated 1961-09-03 from Anthony M. DeMuth, D.D.S to Dr. Graves Thompson at Hampden-Sydney which makes reference to "some letters that Ann's mother had been keeping addressed to Prof. Louis (sic) Littlepage Holladay written 1858-90." The rest of the folder is compiled of 51 letters addressed to or referencing Prof. Holladay, arranged in chronological order, with an inventory. Also included is a book labeled Exercise Folio that contains handwritten pages in two or three different hands. The title page reads "History of Class 1890. Hampden Sidney College by Lewis Holladay."
